#007: Tommy Edman on mindset, approach, and life playing Major League Baseball
Tommy Edman is a starting infielder for the St. Louis Cardinals professional baseball team. Tommy and I grew up together since we were 7, and I really enjoyed sitting down with him to unpack these past 2 years as he’s been adjusting to life in the big leagues. Especially this past COVID season where they played 53 games in 43 days.
We talk about his mindset, strategy, and approach to playing the game at the highest level, how he battles through slumps and rides out hot streaks, and the role that faith plays in his life.
